SkyPilot offers a range of high quality accessories to enhance the flexibility of installing each of its wireless mesh devices; an essential service that increases our customer's revenue generating opportunities by reducing the overall cost of deploying broadband wireless and public Wi-Fi networks.

Each solution has been tested for long-term deployment integrity and interoperability with the SkyPilot solution. The following accessories highlight available SkyPilot and approved 3rd party models. See the available Accessories Datasheet for additional accessory models and specifications.

MetroPole Mounting Kit
The MetroPole mounting kit offers two efficient functions; first, MetroPole allows SkyGateway and SkyExtender series infrastructure devices to mount directly to municipal light pole assets, and second, MetroPole provides a universal interface to the light pole's photocell adapter for convenient and local access to power. MetroPole fills an important role in achieving citywide scalability of the SkyPilot wireless mesh.

MetroPole Jr Mounting Kit
The MetroPole Jr mounting kit is specifically designed for the SkyAccess DualBand mesh edge device. As with the MetroPole mounting kit above, MetroPole Jr provides a means for attachment to municipal light pole assets, and also allows the light pole's photocell to provide a local source of power for the device. MetroPole Jr articulates to accurately aim the backhaul antenna and also accommodates mounting to vertical surfaces.

SkyConnector Tilt-Mount
The SkyConnector Tilt Mount bracket is specifically designed to improve the signal quality of SkyConnector CPE devices by allowing operators to adjust the angle up to 37 degrees on the vertical axis. Utilizing the SkyConnector tilt-mount helps to optimize modulation rates providing more range flexibility to reach subscribers.

Lightning Protection/Surge Suppression
SkyGateway and SkyExtender series devices include integrated surge suppression. However, for locations that incur high access costs, including cell towers, or in areas with significant lightning activity, SkyPilot recommends this Surge Protection Kit to provide additional device protection.

For SkyAccess DualBand and SkyConnector devices, these approved 3rd party models provide several levels of surge protection for mesh edge and CPE installations:
